ROLE SPECIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strategic HR Leadership: Define and execute the HR roadmap aligned to the company's scale-up vision. Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organization design, and talent strategy.
- Team Leadership: Lead a seasoned HR team including Heads of L&D, Recruitment, Compliance & Payroll, and Regional HR leaders.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Build and execute high-impact TA strategies to support hyper-growth. Create a compelling employer brand to attract talent across store- level, culinary, and leadership roles.
- Capability Building & L&D: Drive skill-building programs for culinary teams and front-line staff. Institutionalize learning frameworks to build internal talent pipelines.
- Culture & Engagement: Strengthen Theobroma's people-first culture by enhancing employee experience, driving engagement initiatives, and reinforcing values at scale.
- Process Excellence & Digital HR: Streamline HR processes, implement HRIS, and adopt data- driven decision-making for scalability and effectiveness.
- Industrial Relations: Manage union interactions as applicable, especially in geographies such as Kolkata and Kerala, ensuring compliance and strong employee relations.
DESIRED PROFILE (KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES):
- Experience: 15-20 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within QSR, retail, hospitality, or FMCG environments.
- Track Record of Scaling: Demonstrated success in leading HR functions in fast-growing or scaled organizations.
- Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business drivers and ability to partner with leadership.
- People-Centric: Passion for developing talent, building capabilities, and driving purpose-led culture.
- Energy & Ownership: High energy, hands-on, proactive leader who thrives in entrepreneurial and fast-paced environments.
- Preferred Exposure: Experience managing multi-location, frontline-heavy teams and working knowledge of IR dynamics.
