Our clients are seeking a highly accomplished HR professional based in Mumbai to lead the HR function. Must have strong strategic & operational experience.
Experience in strategic and operational HR is a must.
Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.
Job Description:
Level: Senior Leadership / Head of HR
Reporting To: the CEO
Location: Based out of Mumbai)
Note: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the Western Region is mandatory.
Key Details:
Age Group: 40 - 51 years
Qualifications: MBA (2 years full-time / 3 years part-time) in HR from a well-regarded institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 18 years of overall experience.
- Last 3-5 years must include heading the HR function of an organization with:
Employee strength of current organization100-800
Industry: BFSI (Preferred from NBFC/Bank).
Company Size:
Book Size of - 1500 Cr in Loans/Advances OR
- 5000 Cr in AUM
Key Selection Criteria:
- Must have experience in NBFCs, mid-size high-growth private (Indian) banks, or PSU sector banks).
- Prior experience in setting up HR for a B2C division of an NBFC is highly desirable.
Career trajectory should include:
- Initial experience in mid/large-sized system-driven companies, followed by
- Experience in start-ups/scale-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire HR function, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business growth.
- Establish HR frameworks for scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
- Drive culture-building initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance in HR practices.
- This role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader with a strong background in the BFSI sector, particularly in scaling HR functions for high-growth organizations.
Candidate/Job Profile
1. MBA in Human Resources (2-year full-time or 3-year part-time) from a reputed institute with 18-24 years experience of which recent years must be in BFSI vertical.
2. Experience in setting up HR for the B2C Division of an NBFC.
3. Proven track record of restructuring HR systems, processes, and organizational structures
4. Exposure to both system-driven mid/large-sized companies followed by start-ups or scale-ups
5. Expertise in:
- Organization structure design
- Job role definition
- Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Translating business strategy into HR strategy
- Core HR Generalist experience
- Rewards & Recognition frameworks
- Compliance and labor law proficiency
- Performance management and employee engagement
