Role Overview: As the HR Head for our esteemed Food Processing client in Bangalore, you will be the driving force behind all people-related strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for shaping and executing HR programs that align with the company's business objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws. This role involves close collaboration with the plant leadership team, functional heads, and employees at all levels. Your leadership will directly impact employee engagement, talent retention, and overall organizational effectiveness, contributing significantly to the company's success in the competitive food processing industry. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, ensuring a high-performance culture and supporting organizational growth. - Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions that address their challenges, fostering a strong HR Business Partner relationship. - Lead the talent acquisition process, from sourcing and selection to onboarding, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing needs. - Manage employee relations, addressing employee grievances and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a positive and respectful work environment. - Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers in setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance appraisals, driving employee development and performance improvement. - Design and implement employee engagement programs to enhance employee morale, motivation, and retention, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment. - Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. - Lead and manage change management initiatives, effectively communicating changes to employees and providing support to help them adapt to new processes and systems, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption. - Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards, attracting and retaining top talent. - Manage industrial relations, negotiating with unions and representing the company in labor disputes, maintaining a positive and productive relationship with labor representatives. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, driving organizational performance and achieving strategic goals. - Proven expertise in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience. - Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to influence and coach leaders, providing guidance and support to improve their leadership effectiveness. - Experience in managing change management initiatives, effectively communicating changes and supporting employees through transitions. - A Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field from a reputed institution. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
