Role Overview:
As the Head HR, based in Mumbai, you will be the driving force behind shaping and executing the people strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the overall business objectives. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, from talent acquisition and management to employee relations and organizational development.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and employees at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and champion for a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership will directly impact employee engagement, retention, and ultimately, the company's success in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to drive organizational performance and achieve strategic goals.
- Lead the talent acquisition function to attract, recruit, and onboard top talent, ensuring a diverse and high-performing workforce.
- Design and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain key employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Oversee employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to resolve conflicts and ensure fair and consistent treatment.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Drive organizational development initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including change management, team building, and leadership development.
- Manage the performance management process, ensuring fair and accurate performance evaluations and providing coaching and development opportunities to employees.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational performance.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex HR issues.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and on-site work environment in Mumbai.
