Role Overview
The Head - HR will be responsible for leading the entire Human Resources function, shaping organizational culture, driving talent excellence, and supporting business growth. This role demands a strategic HR leader with experience in scaling people processes within fast-paced FMCG or beauty/cosmetics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
- Partner with the leadership team to drive organization design, workforce planning, and succession management.
2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across functions including Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing.
- Build a strong employer brand to attract top talent from the FMCG, beauty, and retail industries.
3. Performance Management & Employee Development:
- Implement performance evaluation systems (KPIs, OKRs, and competency frameworks).
- Design training, learning, and leadership development programs.
4. Culture, Engagement & Retention:
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture.
- Lead engagement initiatives, rewards, and recognition programs to enhance retention.
5. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee payroll, HRMS implementation, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, POSH, and company policies.
6. Compensation & Benefits:
- Design and review compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks.
- Manage incentive programs and performance-linked pay plans.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinking and business partnering mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of modern HR systems, analytics, and compliance.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and multi-location operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA / PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.
- 12-18 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Prior exposure to FMCG, Cosmetics, Beauty, or Consumer Goods industries preferred.
