Role Overview:
As the HR Head for our dynamic Textile/Retail organization based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for leading and executing the entire spectrum of HR functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with senior leadership, department heads, and employees across all levels. Your strategic guidance and operational excellence will directly impact employee engagement, talent acquisition, organizational development, and overall business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to drive organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates, to ensure a strong and diverse workforce.
- Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, to enhance individual and team performance.
- Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and maintain ethical standards.
- Manage employee relations, addressing employee grievances and resolving conflicts, to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive organizational development initiatives, including change management and succession planning, to build a resilient and future-ready organization.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance HR effectiveness.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, driving organizational success.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.
- Ability to analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai.
- 15-17 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on the Textile/Retail industry.
