Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned strategic leader to serve as the Head of HR for Kolkata location. In this capacity, he will act as the primary architect of the human capital strategy, bridging the gap between organizational objectives and workforce excellence.He will work closely with the C-suite and regional leadership teams to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring that people practices are not only compliant with complex industrial regulations but also serve as a competitive advantage. Daily focus will involve steering large-scale organizational transformations, overseeing complex industrial relations, and mentoring a high-caliber HR team. By aligning talent initiatives with business growth,he will directly influence the market positioning, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute comprehensive HR strategies that drive organizational development and support the long-term business roadmap for the Kolkata unit.

- Lead complex industrial relations and ensure absolute adherence to labor laws to maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.

- Oversee end-to-end talent management and leadership development programs to build a robust pipeline of future-ready internal successors.

- Drive change management initiatives across the organization to ensure seamless adoption of new processes, technologies, and structural shifts.

- Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits frameworks that attract top-tier talent while optimizing total cost of employment.

- Utilize HR analytics to derive actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making regarding workforce productivity and employee engagement.

- Direct HR operations and performance management systems to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with corporate KPIs.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in navigating intricate industrial relations and labor law frameworks within large-scale manufacturing or corporate environments.

- Proven ability to lead organizational development and change management initiatives that successfully shift corporate culture and operational mindsets.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and communicate complex HR strategies effectively.

- Advanced proficiency in leveraging HR analytics to forecast workforce trends and measure the ROI of human capital investments.

- Strong track record in designing performance management and compensation structures that incentivize high performance and retention.

- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources or an MBA from a premier institute is highly preferred to ensure the necessary academic rigor.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site leadership role in Kolkata, demonstrating the maturity and presence required to lead diverse teams in a high-stakes environment.

- Minimum 20 years to maximum 28 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on strategic business partnering.
