
We are looking for an HR - Head for a leading logistics company based in Mumbai in the age group of 35-40 years and willing to travel 7-10 days in a month across India and Bhiwandi. We need someone with a pleasing personality and human approach to be based in Goregaon. He/She will be leading/assisted by the HR team of 25-30 people based in Goregaon, Bhiwandi, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
1. Oversee the recruitment and selection processes to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
2. Implement effective talent management strategies, including succession planning and career development programs.
Employee Performance and Development:
1. Develop and implement performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
2. Provide coaching, counselling, and career development opportunities to staff.
3. Identify and implement training programs that support employee development and organizational growth.
Compensation and Benefits:
1. Design and oversee the implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
2. Ensure that compensation and benefits programs are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
3. Conduct regular market research to ensure the organization's pay structures are aligned with industry standards.
Organizational Development:
1. Lead initiatives to foster a culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
2. Design and implement organizational development programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
3. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Compliance and Legal:
1. Ensure compliance with all employment-related laws and regulations.
2. Oversee and manage disciplinary and termination processes.
3. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance.
HR Operations:
1. Oversee HR systems and ensure they meet the needs of the business.
2. Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of HR resources.
3. Lead HR projects and initiatives that drive organizational improvement and efficiency.
Change Management:
1. Partner with leadership to drive organizational change initiatives.
2. Develop strategies to manage and support change within the organization.
3. Communicate change management strategies and plans to all levels of the organization.
Qualification: Management in Human Resources.
Experience: Minimum 10 years.
