
Role Purpose :
The Head HRBP will act as a strategic partner to the Sales & Marketing leadership team, driving the people agenda to support business growth, productivity, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The role will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives while leading workforce planning, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Business Partnering :
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support growth, profitability, and organizational effectiveness.
- Participate in business planning discussions and drive workforce-related decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent and organizational matters.
Talent Management & Leadership Development:
- Drive succession planning and leadership pipeline development across the business.
- Identify high-potential talent and create development plans.
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to build capability development programs.
- Support leadership assessment and executive coaching initiatives.
Organization Design & Workforce Planning:
- Lead workforce planning to ensure optimal talent availability.
- Drive organization design and restructuring initiatives as required.
- Ensure the organization structure supports business growth and efficiency.
- Monitor manpower productivity and recommend improvements.
Performance Management:
- Drive the performance management framework across the Sales & Marketing organization.
- Partner with leaders to build a high-performance culture.
- Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, talent calibration, and rewards discussions.
- Ensure performance differentiation and succession readiness.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
- Build and strengthen organizational culture aligned with company values.
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Enhance employee experience and retention across levels.
Change Management:
- Lead HR interventions during business transformation, restructuring, mergers, or expansion initiatives.
- Support leaders in driving organizational change and adoption.
- Develop communication and stakeholder management plans.
HR Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Drive HR governance, audits, and risk management processes.
- Maintain strong employee relations across locations.
HR Analytics:
- Analyze workforce metrics including attrition, productivity, hiring, engagement, and performance.
- Present actionable insights to business leadership.
- Drive data-based decision-making for people initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- Additional certifications in Talent Management, Organization Development, or Leadership Development will be an advantage.
Experience:
- 15-20 years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior HRBP leadership role supporting Sales & Marketing functions.
- Experience working with large organizations or diversified conglomerates.
- Strong exposure to talent management, organizational development, change management, and employee engagement.
