Role Overview:

The Head - HR & Administration will lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources and Administration for the manufacturing business unit based in Mumbai. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving employee engagement. The role collaborates closely with the leadership team, functional heads, and employees at all levels to create a high-performing and people-centric organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to support organizational growth and effectiveness.

- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to HR management.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and maintain a compliant work environment.

- Lead and manage employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, to foster a positive and productive work environment.

- Oversee the administration function, including facilities management, security, and vendor management, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

- Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing, to build a strong talent pipeline and support employee growth.

- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance employee morale, motivation, and retention.

- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources to maximize the return on investment in HR programs.

- Provide strategic HR advice and support to the leadership team on all HR-related matters to enable informed decision-making.

- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to enhance team performance.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Proven expertise in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

- Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing HR team.

- Ability to analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address complex employee relations issues effectively.

- A post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in an on-site manufacturing environment.
