We are seeking a senior Government Relations leader from the Alcobev / IMFL industry to drive regulatory strategy, state- level excise engagements, and policy advocacy across key markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory & Policy Management

- Lead state and central excise compliance, regulatory interpretation, and policy monitoring

- Engage proactively with pollution control boards and other regulatory bodies

- Track state-wise policy changes and assess business impact

- Drive advocacy efforts through industry associations and government forums

2. Government & Industry Relations

- Leverage a strong network of excise commissioners and key government officials

- Build and nurture relationships to stay ahead of regulatory shifts

- Influence decision-making where possible through credible industry representation

- Maintain an active presence in critical markets including Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana

3. Market & Route-to-Market Expertise

- Deep understanding of state- specific route- to- market structures

- Evaluate distribution frameworks, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory nuances

- Provide strategic inputs on market-entry and pricing decisions

4. Data & Analytical Strength

- Highly data-oriented approach to decision-making

- Analyze pricing structures, tax implications, and excise changes

- Generate insights that influence commercial and strategic choices

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Senior professional at GM level or above from the Alcobev/IMFL sector (mandatory)

- Proven track record in government liaisoning, state excise management, and policy advocacy

- Strong network with regulatory authorities across multiple states

- Strategic, analytical, and capable of navigating complex state environments
