Head - Fund Raising - Real Estate - CA

Head - Fund Raising will play a critical leadership role in driving the capital strategy of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for securing funding for ongoing and upcoming projects, structuring innovative financing solutions, and building long-term relationships with financial institutions and investors. This role will directly contribute to the company's expansion and project delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Fundraising & Capital Management

- Design and execute fundraising strategies aligned with Organization's growth pipeline and project portfolio.

- Mobilize funds through debt, structured finance, private equity, joint ventures, and alternative investment platforms.

- Drive end-to-end fundraising transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and closure.

- Optimize cost of capital while ensuring adequate liquidity for project execution.

2. Relationship Management & Investor Engagement

- Build and nurture strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, private equity funds, AIFs, and HNIs Act as the key point of contact for investors and financial partners.

- Lead investor presentations, roadshows, and discussions to secure funding.

- Ensure consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders on project and financial performance.

3. Project Financing & Financial Planning

- Work closely with project, finance, and business teams to evaluate funding requirements and project feasibility.

- Develop detailed financial models, cash flow projections, and investment proposals.

- Monitor fund deployment to ensure alignment with approved budgets and timelines.

- Support senior leadership in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

4. Compliance, Due Diligence & Governance

- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements including SEBI, RBI, and other statutory bodies.

- Oversee due diligence processes, transaction documentation, and closure formalities.

- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and external advisors to mitigate financial and regulatory risks.

5. Market Intelligence & Innovation

- Track trends in real estate financing, capital markets, and investor sentiment.

- Identify innovative funding structures and emerging investment opportunities.

- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for competitive positioning and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Mandatory Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 10-15 years of experience in fundraising, project finance, or investment banking, preferably in real estate.

- Proven track record of raising funds for large-scale real estate or infrastructure projects.

- Strong network with banks, NBFCs, PE funds, and institutional investors.

- Deep understanding of financial instruments, structured finance, and real estate regulations.

- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex financial deals.
