Gurugram | Corporate Development / Founders Office

We are hiring on behalf of a high-growth B2B/industrial platform looking for a senior, execution-focused leader to own fundraising, M&A, and corporate strategy. This role will work directly with the Founders to drive capital formation, inorganic growth, and long-term strategic direction as the company scales rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Leadership:

- Lead end-to-end equity fundraising (Series A and beyond), including financial modelling, investor targeting, outreach, and closure

- Craft compelling investment narratives, pitch decks, and data rooms

- Build and manage relationships with VCs, PEs, strategic investors, and banks

- Own fundraising timelines, due diligence, valuation discussions, and negotiations

- Partner closely with Founders and CFO on capital allocation and balance sheet strategy

Mergers & Acquisitions:

- Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, partnerships, and strategic investments

- Lead commercial, financial, operational, and legal due diligence

- Build valuation models (DCF, trading comps, transaction comps, synergy analysis)

- Structure deals including buyouts, minority investments, and joint ventures

- Drive negotiations on valuation, terms, documentation, and integration planning

- Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth post-deal execution

Strategy & Planning:

- Conduct market mapping, industry research, and competitive analysis

- Develop and execute the companys M&A and inorganic growth strategy

- Identify domestic and international opportunities aligned with long-term growth

- Support founders in shaping the overall strategic roadmap

Transaction Management:

- Lead end-to-end deal execution including negotiations, documentation, and compliance

- Coordinate with legal, tax, finance teams and external advisors (IBs, consultants, auditors)

- Manage stakeholder communication while maintaining strict confidentiality

Post-Merger Integration:

- Drive integration planning to realise financial and operational synergies

- Ensure cultural alignment, business continuity, and performance tracking

- Monitor acquired entities and report progress against defined KPIs

Requirements:

Must-Have:

- 8-15 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, VC/PE, or Strategy Consulting

- Proven track record of running fundraising and M&A transactions end-to-end

- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities

- Deep understanding of capital markets, term sheets, and deal structures

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with Tier I investment banks or consulting firms

- Sector exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, B2B commerce, fintech, or industrials

- Prior experience scaling startups or leading corporate strategy functions

- Strong storytelling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
