Head - FinOps

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Operations Leadership

- Lead and manage end-to-end financial operations: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and Collections

- Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and collections from clients and partners

- Monitor working capital, DSO, and fund utilization to ensure liquidity and business continuity

Process Automation & Controls

- Build and implement automated workflows for invoicing, reconciliations, vendor payments, and reporting

- Strengthen internal controls and drive SOP standardization across all finance functions

- Design and enforce robust compliance mechanisms (GST, TDS, TCS, etc.)

Treasury & Risk Management

- Manage cash flows across multiple business units and bank accounts

- Forecast cash requirements and optimize fund allocation and investments

- Assess financial risks in client contracts, receivables, and partner agreements

Technology & Tools

- Drive ERP (e.g., Tally, Zoho, NetSuite, SAP) implementation or upgrades for better financial visibility

- Introduce dashboards and MIS for real-time tracking of key FinOps KPIs

Audit & Compliance

- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure timely filings for GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

- Ensure readiness for investor, board, and due diligence audits (especially in pre-IPO or funding stages)

Team & Stakeholder Management

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FinOps team

- Collaborate with Sales, Ops, and Tech teams to resolve revenue and payout-related issues

- Work closely with external partners including banks, auditors, and legal teams

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or MBA Finance from a reputed institute

- Minimum 10 years of experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership FinOps role

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance

- Proven experience in building scalable finance processes in a startup, logistics, or tech-led environment

- Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems

- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
