Role Overview:

The Head - FP&A role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities. This role collaborates closely with the leadership team, business unit heads, and other key stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and support informed decision-making. The Head - FP&A will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring the achievement of its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasting, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.

- Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances against budget and forecast.

- Partner with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on financial planning and resource allocation.

- Oversee the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and other stakeholders, communicating financial performance and strategic initiatives.

- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and systems, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in a complex business environment.

- Proven expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in using financial software and tools.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management and stakeholders.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a top-tier institution is preferred.

- 12-20 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the financial services industry.
