Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Head of FP&A to build and lead a best-in-class financial planning and performance management function.

This role goes beyond reporting. It requires building a forward-looking, driver-based planning engine and acting as a strategic business partner to Sales and Delivery to enable profitable growth.

The mandate is to bring rigor, predictability, and accountability to revenue, margins, and cost structures while supporting leadership with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Forecasting

- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly reforecasts, and rolling forecasts (Revenue, GM, EBITDA, Headcount, Opex, Capex)

- Develop driver-based models covering pipeline conversion, utilization, realization, mix, onsite/offshore leverage, subcontractors, and bench

- Align financial plans with growth strategy and delivery capacity

2. MIS & Performance Governance

- Own monthly close-to-MIS process including dashboards, variance analysis, and leadership reporting

- Establish structured operating cadence with Business Units

- Enhance reporting from historical financials to forward-looking decision analytics

3. Business Finance Partnering

- Partner with Sales on pricing governance, discount control, and deal margin discipline

- Partner with Delivery/Operations on utilization, pyramid optimization, and cost efficiency

- Institutionalize account/project profitability reviews

4. Costing & Unit Economics

- Develop and maintain robust project costing and rate card frameworks

- Drive gross margin bridge analytics (rate, mix, utilization, leakage, subcontracting, write-offs)

- Deliver insights on client concentration, practice performance, and productivity metrics

5. Strategic Finance & Investments

- Lead business cases for capex, technology investments, automation initiatives, and strategic programs

- Support CFO/CEO with board-level analysis and performance narratives

- Build and mentor an FP&A team across planning, analytics, and business partnering

- Drive automation and BI adoption to strengthen forecasting and reporting processes

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 12 to18 years of experience in FP&A / Business Finance / Corporate Finance

- Minimum 5-7 years within IT Services / Technology Services / Digital / Cloud / Engineering Services

- Proven experience in margin management and commercial partnering

- Experience in mid-sized, high-growth or PE-backed environments preferred

Functional Strengths

- Built and led executive MIS frameworks

- Strong grip on IT services unit economics (utilization, realization, pyramid, bench, subcontracting)

- Expertise in driver-based forecasting and scenario modeling

- Strong financial modeling and investment analysis capabilities

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CPA / CMA preferred
