Role Overview:

We are partnering with a fast-growing, multi-location services platform to hire a Head Finance who will lead the end-to-end finance function and work closely with the leadership team to support the organizations next phase of growth.

The role will play a critical part in building strong financial systems, driving business insights, and ensuring financial governance as the company continues to expand its offline centers / physical locations across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Partner with the leadership team to drive financial strategy, planning, and decision-making.

- Provide insights on business performance, cost structures, and profitability.

- Support business expansion initiatives through financial modelling and financial planning.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

- Track financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights to leadership.

- Build financial models to support expansion, new center launches, and operational initiatives.

Controllership & Accounting

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including monthly and annual financial closing.

- Ensure strong financial reporting processes and internal controls.

- Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.

Taxation & Compliance

- Manage direct and indirect taxation including GST compliance.

- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Audit & Governance

- Lead statutory and internal audits.

- Strengthen governance frameworks and financial controls across the organization.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to leadership.

Business Finance

- Partner closely with operations and business teams to monitor unit economics and profitability across locations.

- Track performance of offline centers and support cost optimization initiatives.

- Provide insights to improve financial discipline and operational efficiency.

Required Skillset:

- 12 to 15 years of finance experience across FP&A, controllership, taxation, and compliance.

- Prior experience working with multi-location / offline businesses such as retail, healthcare chains, hospitality, QSR, or other center-led operations will be highly preferred.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.

- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
