Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the foundation.

- Oversee the preparation and management of the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.

- Manage cash flow, investments, and other financial assets to maximize returns and minimize risk.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Lead the grant management process, including pre-award assessments, financial monitoring of grantees, and post-award audits.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements for non-profit organizations.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the senior management team and the board of directors.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and accounting, with a strong understanding of non-profit financial management principles.

- Proven ability to manage grants effectively, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and maximizing the impact of funding.

- Excellent cash management and investment skills, with a track record of optimizing financial resources.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

- Experience in leading and developing a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
