Head - Finance - Media & Entertainment Business - CA

Role: Group Finance Head for a US HQ media company

MANDATORY QUALIFIERS:

- Experience working with US subsidiary structures.

- Willing to be based in the US (LA) for 6 - 7 months a year and balance in India (Delhi/NCR or Mumbai).

Responsibilities:

- Own GAAP compliance and board reporting independently.

- Financial Reporting: Monthly close, US GAAP compliance, Board engagement.

- Cash and Working Capital: AP/ AR, covenant compliance.

- Restructuring - tracking milestones, EBIDTA, KPI scorecard etc.

- Cost approvals on spends.

- Reporting to the Board and owners - monthly, quarterly.

Experience:

- 10+ years in finance leadership, including direct exposure to US GAAP and ideally a US parent - subsidiary or cross - border reporting structure.

Qualification:

- CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA - equivalent.

Desired Industry:

- Media, creative services, agency, or professional - services background preferred.

Specific must haves:

- Direct exposure to US GAAP and ideally a US parent - subsidiary.

- Monthly close ownership.

- Board/ investor level financial reporting and reviews.

- Comfortable managing a small team remotely across a 12+ hour time difference from LA.

Good to have:

- Exposure to restructuring - this role starts inside an active transformation, not steady - state finance.
