About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Head to lead the Finance and Accounts function of a reputed manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, taxation, treasury, MIS reporting, and factory finance while ensuring strong financial controls and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in manufacturing finance and be capable of partnering with business leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall Finance and Accounts function, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all financial operations.

- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, business forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.

- Develop and present MIS reports, financial dashboards, variance analysis, and business performance reports for senior management.

- Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and liquidity to ensure efficient utilization of financial resources.

- Oversee treasury activities, banking operations, working capital management, and fund planning.

- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, banking transactions, and financial documentation.

- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Manage internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and risk management frameworks.

- Analyze manufacturing costs, production expenses, inventory valuation, and factory overheads to improve cost efficiency.

- Partner with plant operations and business teams to monitor operational costs and profitability.

- Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance finance operations and reporting efficiency.

- Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records in ERP/accounting systems.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to build a high-performance finance function.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing, Building Materials, Engineering, Industrial, or Process Manufacturing industries.

- Strong experience in factory accounting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, banking operations, and financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and modern accounting software.

- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

- Willingness to work in Kollam, Kerala.
