Key Responsibilities

- Lead the finance function: oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

- Provide strategic financial guidance to the leadership team: analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, risks, efficiency levers, and support decision-making.

- Drive budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units (events, digital, brand experience) and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.

- Manage working capital, cash management, vendor & client payment cycles - especially critical in event & experiential business where timing and cost control matter.

- Build and maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with statutory & regulatory requirements (GST, corporate law, audit, tax) and implement best practices in financial governance.

- Lead & develop the finance team: set up processes, train/mentor finance staff, establish dashboards/reports for management visibility.

- Collaborate closely with operations, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure project profitability, cost tracking, margin monitoring and cost-benefit analysis.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and banks/financial institutions as needed.

What we're looking for:


- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance (or equivalent) with 8+ years' experience in finance leadership roles (preferably in agency, media, digital, events or services sectors).

- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting & forecasting, financial modelling, cost control, working capital management.

- Proven track record of operating in high-velocity, client-facing service/agency businesses with project and event delivery.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to present financial insights to senior leadership in a clear, business-focused manner.

- Strong systems orientation: comfortable with finance/ERP tools, dashboards, process improvements.

- Ethical, proactive, hands-on leadership style who can both strategize and roll up their sleeves when needed.
