We are looking for a highly driven and hands-on finance leader who can function as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director and lead the companys Finance, Costing, Commercial Control, Compliance, and Office Administration functions.

The role requires strong expertise in :

- Manufacturing costing

- Inventory and consumption control

- Financial planning and cash flow management

- Commercial and purchase monitoring

- MIS and profitability analysis

- Compliance and secretarial coordination

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in manufacturing industries and must be capable of building systems, controls, and data-driven decision-making processes.

Reporting To : Managing Director

Key Responsibilities :

1. Costing & Profitability Management :

- Develop and maintain accurate product costing systems.

- Monitor BOM vs actual consumption and identify variances/leakages.

- Conduct raw material, process, and overhead cost analysis.

- Prepare product-wise, customer-wise, and order-wise profitability reports.

- Work closely with production and purchase teams to improve margins.

- Monitor machine-wise and process-wise efficiency.

2. Finance & Accounts :

- Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities.

- Ensure timely monthly and annual closing of books.

- Manage cash flow, banking, working capital, and fund planning.

- Monitor receivables, creditor ageing, and liquidity position.

- Drive budget preparation and variance analysis.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, bankers, and consultants.

3. Commercial & Purchase Control :

- Monitor purchase pricing trends and support vendor negotiations through data analysis.

- Implement controls over procurement and material consumption.

- Ensure inventory controls, stock reconciliation, and physical verification systems.

- Develop commercial MIS dashboards for management review.

4. Compliance & Secretarial Coordination :

- Ensure timely compliance under GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.

- Coordinate board meeting documentation and statutory filings.

- Liaise with practicing Company Secretary, auditors, and legal advisors.

- Support management in strengthening governance and internal controls.

5. Systems, MIS & Automation :

- Develop real-time MIS and KPI dashboards for management.

- Improve ERP usage and automation across finance and inventory processes.

- Implement process controls and SOPs across departments.

- Drive data-based decision-making culture.

6. Team Leadership :

- Lead and supervise Accounts, Commercial, and Office Administration teams.

- Coordinate with HR, Purchase, Stores, and Sales Coordination departments for operational efficiency.

- Build accountability and process discipline across functions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

The candidate will be evaluated on :

- Improvement in inventory control and stock accuracy

- Timely closure of accounts and statutory compliance

Desired Candidate Profile :

Qualification Preferred :

- CMA / ICWA

- CA

- CS qualification will be an added advantage

Experience :

- 10 - 15+ years of experience in manufacturing industry

- Strong exposure to costing, finance, inventory, and commercial controls

- Experience in ERP systems and MIS reporting

- Experience in packaging, engineering, steel, auto, process manufacturing, or similar industries preferred
