Job Description - Head of Finance - Corporate Finance & Strategy

Reporting To: CFO/CEO

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Corporate Finance & Strategy Head to lead financial planning, treasury, investor relations, and reporting functions. This role will be responsible for driving financial insights, managing investments, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and ensuring robust compliance and reporting standards. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical finance knowledge with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Develop and maintain long-term financial models, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.

- Support strategic decision-making with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

2. Treasury & Investments

- Manage short-term and long-term cash flow to optimize liquidity.

- Oversee banking relationships and ensure efficient working capital management.

- Evaluate and manage investment opportunities to maximize returns.

- Monitor debt and equity financing, ensuring compliance with covenants.

3. Investor Relations

- Prepare investor presentations, quarterly updates, and board decks.

- Act as a point of contact for investors, analysts, and lenders.

- Support fundraising activities by preparing financial models, data rooms, and narratives.

4. Reporting & Audit Support

- Lead preparation of MIS reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Support statutory, internal, and investor audits with timely data and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

5. CMA Reporting & Bank Relations

- Prepare CMA data and other required reports for banks and financial institutions.

- Support negotiations for credit limits, working capital, and structured financing.

6. ERP Implementation & Process Improvements

- Lead finance-side implementation of ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Zoho).

- Define and standardize finance processes for better efficiency and control.

- Automate reporting and compliance dashboards.

7. Due Diligence (DD) & Strategic Support

- Prepare data, financial models, and reports for investor due diligence.

- Collaborate with legal, business, and consulting teams during fundraising or M&A.

- Support management in strategic financial decision-making.

8. Finance Control

- Establish and monitor internal controls across finance and accounting processes.

- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

- Identify financial risks and implement corrective action plans.

- Periodic review of AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and compliance processes.
