About The Project:

Opportunity with one of India's largest and most prestigious Greenfield International Airport projects in NCR. The project is being developed as a world-class, future-ready aviation hub and is a landmark nation-building initiative. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of building an international airport from the ground up.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Head - Finance Controller to lead the entire finance controllership function for this large-scale airport project. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end finance operations, accounting excellence, governance, and compliance during the critical project-to-operations transition phase.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Finance Operations & Controllership:

- Lead and oversee complete finance operations - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Taxation and Project Accounting.

- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant monthly, quarterly and annual book closure as per Ind AS.

- Own Project Cost accounting, Capex monitoring, OPEX control and Budget vs Actual analysis.

B. Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance:

- Responsible for finalization of standalone Financial Statements, MIS, Board decks and Management Reporting.

- Ensure 100% compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, Customs and other applicable statutory/regulatory norms.

- Lead Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audits and act as single point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, banks and financial institutions.

C. Internal Controls, Governance & Risk:

- Establish and strengthen robust Internal Financial Controls (IFC), SOPs, DOA and financial governance framework.

- Ensure adherence to concession agreement, shareholder agreements and JV compliances.

- Drive Risk Management and control environment suitable for a regulated infrastructure business.

D. Business Partnering & Strategy:

- Partner with Senior Management and cross-functional teams (Projects, Commercial, Operations, Procurement) to provide financial insights, business case evaluation and decision support.

- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Budgeting, Forecasting and Long-Range Planning process.

- Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency and profitability improvement initiatives.

E. Transformation & Team Leadership:

- Drive finance transformation, automation, process improvements and ERP (SAP) optimization to build a scalable finance function.

- Build, lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Desired Profile:

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

- Experience: 15 - 20+ years of post-qualification experience in Controllership.

Preferred Background:

- Must have experience in Airports / Aviation / Infrastructure / Real Estate / Construction / Other Large Capex-Intensive Project Industry.

- Experience in Greenfield / Project-based organization is highly preferred.

Skills:

- Expertise in Ind AS, Taxation, IFC, SAP, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivables Audit Management, Stakeholder Management.

- Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
