Job Description:

Technical Skill set required:

- Expert knowledge of Accounting Software used in USA like SAP, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero etc.

- Expert knowledge of Payroll Software used in USA like ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks, Paychex, Trinet etc.

- Expert knowledge of third-party applications integrating with accounting software like Bill.

- Expert with application of US GAAP, IFRS and General Accepted Accounting Principles.

- Experience with Accounting software implementations and migrations.

- Expert with US Business tax returns and Individual tax returns.

- Expert with Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis.

- Experience with utilization of Time and Project Management tools.

- Expert with MS Office applications especially Excel & PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning - Lead the development and execution of the organization's financial strategy aligned with business goals.

- Drive annual budgeting, long-range planning, and periodic financial forecasting.

- Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and executive leadership to support decision-making.

2. Financial Control & Compliance - Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee timely and accurate closure of books, financial statements, audits (internal & statutory), and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve financial policies, SOPs, and risk management frameworks.

3. Business Finance & Performance Management - Partner with CXOs and functional heads to evaluate business performance, assess financial risks, and support growth initiatives.

- Drive cost optimization, productivity enhancements, working capital efficiency, and profitability improvement initiatives across the organization.

- Monitor key financial metrics and ensure strong financial discipline across business units and manufacturing plants.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management - Manage treasury functions including cash flow planning, fund management, banking relationships, and investment decisions.

- Optimize capital structure and ensure availability of funds for ongoing and strategic business requirements.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Affairs - Oversee direct and indirect taxation, ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Lead interactions with tax authorities, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

6. Leadership & Team Development - Lead and mentor corporate finance teams and collaborate closely with plant finance teams across multiple locations.

- Build a high-performance culture and drive capability development within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of relevant experience in large manufacturing organizations.

- Strong experience in financial strategy, corporate finance, plant finance, and compliance.

- Proven track record of leading finance functions at a senior level with strategic and operational responsibilities.

- Expertise in financial systems, ERP platforms, and digital finance tools.

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
