Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnering:

- Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership teams to drive business performance and profitability.

- Provide financial insights, business analytics, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making at the leadership level.

- Drive data-backed recommendations on pricing strategy, channel profitability, trade spend optimization, margin management, and growth investments.

- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and founders, contributing to overall business strategy.

Financial Governance & Controls:

- Ensure robust internal controls, financial governance, compliance, and adherence to statutory regulations including GST, TDS, Companies Act and other applicable laws.

- Oversee accounting operations, month-end closures, financial reporting, audits, and coordination with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

- Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, working capital, receivables, and payables efficiently.

- Drive risk management, process automation, ERP enhancements, and scalable finance operations to support business growth.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes.

- Proactively monitor business performance against budgets; identify risks and opportunities and communicate them effectively to leadership.

- Prepare and own MIS reporting, management dashboards, variance analyses, and actionable business insights for periodic leadership reviews.

- Build robust financial models to evaluate new product launches, market expansion, and investment decisions.

Business Growth Support:

- Support new market expansion, fundraising requirements, strategic projects, and business transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy and cost optimization initiatives.

Experience & Skills:

- CA / MBA Finance from a reputed institute.

- 8 - 15 years of progressive experience in Finance, with strong exposure across Business Finance, Controllership, and Commercial Finance.

- Demonstrated experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverages, Retail, or high-growth consumer start-ups is strongly preferred.

- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.

- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities; comfort with large, complex datasets and business intelligence tools.

- Experience in ERP systems, financial modelling, and dashboarding tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex financial information into clear business narratives.

- High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment.

- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams; strong people development and mentoring skills.
