Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Head to lead end-to-end financial operations in a manufacturing-driven agro business. The role involves strategic financial planning, cost control, and ensuring compliance across plant operations and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end finance function including accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for plant and business units

- Prepare and present MIS reports, variance analysis, and business performance dashboards

- Oversee plant finance operations, including cost accounting and inventory valuation

- Manage working capital, cash flow, and fund allocation across procurement and distribution

- Ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and statutory regulations

- Handle internal & statutory audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies

- Implement strong financial controls, SOPs, and risk mitigation frameworks

- Partner with operations for cost optimization, yield analysis, and profitability improvement

- Monitor procurement spend, vendor payments, and contract financials

- Support leadership in strategic decision-making, capex planning, and expansion initiatives

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in cost accounting & plant finance

- Experience in inventory management & supply chain finance

- Advanced skills in financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

- Proficiency in MIS reporting and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally)

- Deep understanding of business cycles and seasonal forecasting

- Knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and audit frameworks

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
