Role Overview:
As the Head - Finance, you will be the financial steward of the organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, strategy, and reporting. You will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial operations. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to provide financial insights, drive strategic decision-making, and optimize financial performance. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the company's growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards for accurate and transparent reporting.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and financial performance for all departments.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk mitigation, to optimize liquidity and returns.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies to ensure compliance with international tax regulations and optimize tax efficiency.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, supporting strategic initiatives and driving informed decision-making across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, including a deep understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective internal control systems and risk management strategies.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Extensive experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, and risk mitigation.
- In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing principles and regulations, with the ability to develop and implement compliant and efficient transfer pricing policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 12-23 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
