Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to join a high-growth organization and partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and robust governance.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role with end-to-end ownership of FP&A, business finance, budgeting, forecasting, inventory finance, and stakeholder management. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to translate financial insights into business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

- Develop financial models, scenarios, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.

- Track performance against plans, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Business Finance & Strategic Partnership:

- Act as a finance business partner to senior leadership and functional heads.

- Support pricing, margin optimization, cost control, and profitability initiatives.

- Enable data-driven decision-making through clear financial insights and recommendations.

Inventory & Working Capital Management:

- Oversee inventory planning, valuation, provisioning, and controls.

- Drive improvements in working capital efficiency, cash flows, and inventory turns.

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory health.

Financial Controls, Governance & Compliance:

- Strengthen financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks.

- Ensure statutory compliance, audits, and adherence to accounting standards.

- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.

Reporting & MIS:

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and MIS.

- Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reporting for management and investors.

- Build dashboards and reports to track key financial and business KPIs.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, supply chain, HR, and leadership teams.

- Support fundraising, investor interactions, and board-level reporting where applicable.

Key Performance Areas (KRAs):

- Budgeting and forecasting accuracy

- Business profitability and margin improvement

- Working capital and cash flow optimization

- Strength of financial controls and governance

- Quality and timeliness of management reporting

- Stakeholder satisfaction and business enablement

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory

- 12 to 18+ years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or finance leadership roles

- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

- Experience managing inventory-heavy or fast-growing businesses

- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence decisions

Good-to-Have:

- Experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or transformation environments

- Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, or board interactions

- Experience building finance teams and scalable processes
