- The role will be responsible for managing all the finance functions of the business. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management to ensure the company's financial health and support its growth objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

a. Oversee the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

b. Analyse financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance and prospects.

2. Financial Reporting:

a. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders ro provide a comprehensive overview of the company's financial position and performance.

3. Risk Management:

a. Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company's operations. This includes managing risks related to interest rates, market volatility and other situations.

4. Capital Management:

a. Oversee the company's capital structure, ensuring that it is optimal for achieving the company's financial goals.

b. Manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

5. Financial Compliance:

a. Ensure that the company complies with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.

b. Oversee the company's internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.

6. Investor Relations:

a. Manage relationships with investors and analysts.

b. Ensure communication of the company's financial performance and strategy to the investment community.

7. People Development:

a. Build and motivate a high-performance team. Value and demonstrate collaboration, results orientation, initiative, and speed.

Critical Competencies for Success:

1. Proven experience as Head of Finance/ CFO similar role

2. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

3. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

4. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)

5. An analytical mind with a strategic ability

6. Excellent organisational and leadership skills

7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

8. Profitability - Ability to deliver outcomes based on our well-researched financial model.

Person Profile & Education Qualification:

- Candidate should have an overall experience of 12-15 years. Prefer experience in Media and Entertainment industry.

- CA with an MBA from a Tier 1 institute is a plus.

- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
