Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end financial operations, including general accounting, taxation, and treasury management, to ensure the integrity of financial reporting for the manufacturing unit.
- Drive comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to provide actionable insights on production costs, inventory valuation, and margin analysis for senior management.
- Oversee corporate finance activities, including capital expenditure planning and working capital optimization, to support the company's expansion and operational requirements.
- Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Partner with manufacturing operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements that directly enhance the bottom line.
- Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and precision in all financial reporting and accounting practices.
Required Skillset:
- CA qualification reflecting a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial management.
- 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, specifically within the automotive or heavy manufacturing sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial operations within a manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of cost accounting and industrial financial metrics.
- Proven ability to lead corporate finance initiatives, including managing banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and long-term capital allocation strategies.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret large datasets and translate them into strategic business recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
