Job description :
Role & responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end corporate finance and controllership function across the organization
- Manage financial reporting, period close, MIS, and ensure timely & accurate reporting with zero audit qualifications
- Ensure compliance with IND-AS, Companies Act, SEBI LODR, and all statutory regulations
- Oversee direct & indirect taxation, ensure 100% compliance, and manage tax litigation and assessments
- Drive financial due diligence for M&A, equity transactions, restructuring, and international funding initiatives
- Manage enterprise-wide insurance portfolio, risk mitigation, and claims settlement processes
- Ensure smooth payroll processing, compliance, and employee grievance management
- Strengthen Accounts Payable/Receivable processes with strong internal controls and efficiency
- Monitor and control non-project CAPEX, ensuring alignment with budgets and financial goals
- Ensure audit readiness and manage statutory, internal, and cost audits with timely closure of queries
- Drive SOP standardization, process improvements, and automation initiatives across finance functions
- Lead digital transformation initiatives including dashboards, automation, and real-time reporting
- Build strong relationships with auditors, regulators, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Qualified CA with 18+ years of experience in corporate finance/controllership
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, IND-AS, taxation, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in SAP / ERP systems and finance automation initiatives
- Exposure to M&A, fundraising, or strategic finance initiatives preferred
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
