Position: Head - Finance & Accounts

Location: Mumbai

Role:

Will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring legal compliance in all financial matters and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive management team. Will play a crucial role in driving the companys financial performance, managing risk and supporting the Companys growth objectives

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

1. Develop and oversee the implementations of financial strategies, plans and budgets aligned with the companys goals

2. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting and modeling to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation

3. Monitor Key Financial metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports and insights to the management team

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports and tax filings in compliance with relevant laws and regulations

2. Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data

3. Coordinate with auditors and regulators to facilitate audits and examinations

3. Treasury and Cash Management:

1. Manage the companys liquidity, cash flow and investment activities to optimize returns and mitigate risks

2. Oversee banking relationships, debt financing and capital raising activities

3. Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures to maintain adequate liquidity

4. Risk Management:

1. Identify, assess and manage financial risks, including credit risk, market risk and operational risk

2. Implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to protect the companys financial interests

3. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments impacting financial risk management

5. Strategic Planning and Decision Support:

1. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans

2. Provide financial insights and analysis to support investment decisions, pricing strategies and capital allocation

Professional Background:

- Thorough knowledge on financial regulations, reporting standards and compliance requirements

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting

- B Com & any professional certification such as CPA, CFA,CA

- Preferably from Financial services industry experience
