A leading and well-established real estate development organization is looking to hire a seasoned finance leader to head its Finance & Accounts function. The role will be responsible for driving financial strategy, project finance, treasury, compliance, commercial controls, and business partnering across multiple projects and business verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Partner with leadership teams to drive financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and financial projections.

- Provide strategic financial insights and scenario analyses for decision-making.

- Monitor profitability, cash flows, cost optimization, and overall financial performance.

2. Financial Operations & Governance

- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

- Ensure timely closure of books and accurate preparation of financial statements.

- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

- Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and project fund utilization.

3. Project Finance & Commercial Monitoring

- Drive project-wise budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial planning.

- Evaluate project feasibility, IRR analysis, profitability projections, and risk assessments.

- Work closely with project, procurement, and commercial teams on cost controls.

- Monitor project cash flows, construction finance schedules, and vendor payment cycles.

4. Treasury, Banking & Fund Raising

- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and investors.

- Lead treasury operations including liquidity planning and cash flow management.

- Drive project financing, debt structuring, refinancing, and fund-raising initiatives.

- Ensure optimal deployment and utilization of financial resources.

-Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, RERA, and related regulations.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, RERA, and related regulations.

- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audits and regulatory filings.

- Oversee tax planning, assessments, and litigation management.

- Maintain strong governance and compliance standards across entities.

6. MIS & Business Analytics

- Build robust MIS and reporting systems for leadership review.

- Develop dashboards and analytical reports covering project profitability and business performance.

- Present financial insights to senior management and key stakeholders.

- Drive process automation and digitization initiatives within finance functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory.

- 15+ years of post-qualification experience in finance leadership roles.

- Strong exposure to Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or EPC sectors preferred.

- Experience managing multi-project and multi-entity financial operations.
