Head - Finance & Accounts - Pharma/Healthcare

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic finance leader as Head of Finance & Accounts. This is a critical leadership role responsible for establishing strong financial governance, driving cost discipline, and supporting scalable growth in a highly regulated industry.

The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with 12-18 years of experience, preferably within pharma, FMCG, or consumer healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end Accounting & Compliance: Oversee timely book closure, accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual), and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA filings, and IND-AS. Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.

2. Drive Rigorous Cost Control: Design and implement robust cost management frameworks across procurement, manufacturing operations, logistics, and overheads. Track variances, enforce budgetary controls, and build a culture of cost consciousness without compromising quality or compliance.

3. Strengthen Internal Controls & Processes: Own and continuously improve SOPs for billing & collections, vendor payments, credit management, inventory accounting, and working capital. Implement strong internal controls to mitigate financial and regulatory risks.

4. Pharma-Specific Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to NPPA/DPCO pricing norms, drug price control regulations, and all industry-specific filings and disclosures.

5. Business Partnership & MIS: Prepare insightful MIS reports, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections. Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on working capital optimization, fundraising initiatives, banking relationships, and strategic decision-making.
