Head - Finance - AI/Technology Firm

About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced Head of Finance for a rapidly growing AI-powered technology company transforming customer engagement through intelligent, data-driven solutions. This is a strategic leadership role, partnering closely with the Founders and business leaders to drive financial strategy, governance, fundraising readiness, business planning, and scalable finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Founders and business leaders on financial strategy, capital allocation, and business planning

- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modelling

- Drive fundraising readiness, investor reporting, board presentations, and financial due diligence

- Evaluate business opportunities through financial modelling and commercial analysis

- Own FP&A, MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow reporting, and financial analysis

- Lead statutory audits, taxation, compliance, and strengthen financial governance

- Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, working capital, and banking relationships

- Build scalable finance processes through automation and AI-enabled reporting

- Improve financial controls, reporting infrastructure, and operational efficiency

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

- 15+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance leadership roles

- Experience in high-growth Startup, SaaS, AI, FinTech, Marketplace, or Technology businesses

- Strong expertise in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Taxation, and Financial Reporting

- Proven experience with fundraising, investor relations, board reporting, and audit management

- Strong financial modelling, business partnering, and commercial decision-making skills

- Experience building scalable finance processes in fast-paced environments

- Big 4 experience combined with startup exposure will be a strong advantage
