Role Purpose:

The Finance Lead will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial operations of the organization. The role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, investor relations, treasury, compliance, risk management, corporate governance, and supporting business growth while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements applicable to listed entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team on strategic decision-making.

- Drive profitability, growth, capital allocation, and value creation initiatives.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business expansion and investment decisions.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

- Monitor business performance against budgets and strategic goals.

- Drive financial analytics and management reporting to support decision-making.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, stock exchange requirements, and other applicable laws.

- Oversee quarterly and annual financial results, board reports, and statutory disclosures.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Treasury & Capital Management:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and treasury operations.

- Optimize capital structure and funding strategies.

- Lead debt raising, refinancing, and capital market transactions.

- Monitor liquidity and financial risk exposure.

Investor Relations:

- Act as a key interface with investors, analysts, shareholders, and rating agencies.

- Lead earnings calls, investor presentations, annual reports, and shareholder communications.

- Support the Board in maintaining strong corporate governance standards.

- Build investor confidence through transparent financial communication.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.

- Ensure effective compliance and governance practices across the organization.

- Monitor financial, operational, regulatory, and business risks.

- Drive audit readiness and compliance culture.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Projects:

- Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships.

- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration activities.

- Support strategic transformation and business restructuring initiatives.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and develop the finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, internal audit, and compliance teams.

- Build a high-performance finance function with strong governance and controls.

- Mentor and develop future finance leaders.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Candidates between 40-50 years of age are preferred.

- Proven experience leading the finance function of a listed or large enterprise organization.

- Strong expertise in financial strategy, treasury, investor relations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business partnering.

- Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing high-performing finance teams.
