Role Overview:


We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to head the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Investor Relations function. This role will be a key strategic partner to the CFO and business leadership, driving financial strategy, performance management, and investor communication.


The incumbent will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting business expansion, managing store-level profitability, and strengthening relationships with investors and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):


- Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.


- Own P&L analysis, variance analysis, and performance tracking across business units.


- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and growth plans.


- Partner closely with business leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.


- Provide actionable insights and dashboards for senior management to support decision-making.


Business Partnering & Growth Initiatives:


- Act as a core finance partner for store expansion, including:


- Financial feasibility studies


- ROI analysis


- Operational setup support


- Lead financial assessment and turnaround strategies for underperforming stores.


- Support entry into new geographies, including financial due diligence and risk assessment.


- Evaluate new business opportunities, capex proposals, and strategic investments.


Investor Relations:


- Lead the Investor Relations (IR) function and act as a key interface with investors and analysts.


- Manage preparation and presentation of:


- Earnings presentations


- Annual reports


- Investor decks and management discussion materials


- Develop and execute a strong investor communication strategy to enhance transparency and confidence.


- Track market trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to provide insights to leadership.


- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial disclosures.


Leadership & Governance:


- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A and IR team.


- Establish robust financial governance, reporting standards, and best practices.


- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information shared internally and externally.


- Collaborate with audit, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders as required.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- Strong expertise in FP&A, strategic finance, and performance management.


- Proven experience in investor relations and stakeholder communication.


- Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate numbers into strategy.


- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior management and investors.


- Leadership capability to manage large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.


- Experience working in multi-unit retail / consumer-facing businesses is a strong advantage.
