Head - Finance

Description:

Finance Head

- Oversee the companys financial health, including budgeting, cash flow, and capital management.

- Lead the implementation of financial systems, controls, and best practices.

- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annually).

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with department heads.

- Perform monthly variance analysis and report deviations with corrective recommendations.

- Conduct scenario modeling and rolling forecasts for better agility.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Deliver monthly MIS reports, cash flow reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets.

- Provide actionable insights to support business decisions and board presentations.

- Drive improvements in financial visibility and performance KPIs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure full statutory compliance with GST, TDS, ROC, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and tax assessments.

- Implement and monitor internal financial controls (IFC) and risk mitigation frameworks.

Banking and Treasury:

- Manage banking relationships, ensure optimum fund utilization, and negotiate terms for loans or credit lines.

- Handle loan servicing, interest obligations, and compliance with financial covenants.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

- Collaborate with CXOs and department leaders to align finance strategies with business goals.

- Foster a high-performance culture with transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA may be considered with strong experience.

- 10+ years of experience in core finance, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience in financial planning, audit management, and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Tally, or AccountsIQ.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
