
Role Overview:
To provide overall leadership and end-to-end operational management of the Mechanical Power Sweeping Project, ensuring efficient deployment and utilisation of the electric power-sweeping fleet, optimum manpower productivity, achievement of contractual/SLA commitments, cost control, statutory compliance and effective liaison with government/client authorities.
The position will be responsible for ensuring high vehicle availability, minimum downtime, efficient EV charging and utilisation, manpower discipline and productivity, customer satisfaction and overall project profitability.
Key Result Areas:
- Lead the Project Operations Profitably through achievement of daily, monthly and annual project operational targets and maximum utilisation and availability of the machines and controlling project operating costs.
- EV Infrastructure Management consisting of vehicle fleet management, charging and preventive maintenance and through effective EV charging and deployment schedules to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Manpower Management of 100+ staff including drivers/operators, supervisors, technicians and other project personnel while ensuring optimum manpower deployment against routes and machines.
- Effective Relationship Management with municipal corporation / concerned municipal authorities and other government officials.
- Ensure implementation of the Project Contract/Agreement as per commercial and technical specifications and through monitoring compliance.
- Ensure safe operation of EVs and mechanical sweeping equipment.
Ideal Profile:
- Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics Engineer with 12+ years of overall experience in operations/project management and exposure to EV fleet operations will be ideal.
- Experience in Mechanical Road Sweeping, Municipal Solid Waste, Urban Services, Transportation or similar government/municipal projects will be preferred.
- Experience of dealing with Municipal Corporations/Government authorities will be an advantage.
