Head - Corporate Finance & Strategy - FinTech - IIT/IIM/ISB/CA

We are hiring for a founding finance leadership role at a soon-to-launch fintech backed by a well-capitalized, large-scale lending platform with Pan-India reach and 4Cr+ customer base, established partnerships with 80+ lenders, highly capital-efficient growth, and strong industry relationships

The new venture is gearing up to deploy in unsecured lending from its balance sheet in the first phase. This is a rare 0-to-1 opportunity to help build the financial core of a tech-led, consumer credit business from day one.

Role Scope

Corporate Finance & Business Planning

- Own company-wide financial planning, modeling, and performance tracking

- Drive capital allocation, operating plans, and scenario analysis

- Partner cross-functionally with product, credit, and operations to embed financial discipline across the org

Fundraising & Capital Markets

- Lead equity and debt fundraising efforts from inception

- Build investor materials, lead diligence processes, and manage capital partner relationships

- Optimize capital structure, cost of funds, and fundraising timelines

Strategic Finance & Special Projects

- Support founders on long-range strategy, pricing, and GTM decision-making

- Drive board-level reporting and investor storytelling

- Evaluate new products, markets, and revenue opportunities from a financial lens

Governance & Risk Oversight

- Set up internal finance systems, controls, and compliance frameworks

- Ensure RBI/NBFC-aligned practices around provisioning, asset quality, and portfolio health

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Hands-on exposure to fundraising (equity and/or debt), investor relations, and capital strategy

- 8 - 12 years of experience in fintech, lending or investment banking

- Experience in early-stage / high-growth environments preferred

- First-principles thinker with the ability to build and lead from scratch

- Tier-1 education (IIT/IIM/ISB/CA) preferred

- Strong analytical, modeling, and stakeholder management skills
