We are looking for an exceptional senior finance leader with a minimum proven track record of raising - 5,000 crore+ in debt financing across infrastructure-heavy sectors.

The role will be central to driving capital strategy for the company's renewable and solar projects, ensuring efficient fund availability for growth, acquisitions, and project execution.

This is a high-impact leadership role influencing capital structure, financial closure timelines, cost of capital, and overall business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Debt Fundraising & Capital Structuring:

- Lead and close large-ticket debt raises for solar, renewable, and infra projects.

- Structure and secure funding (project finance, refinancing, working capital) from banks, NBFCs, DFIs, AIFs, and global investors.

- Deliver - 5,000 crore+ cumulative debt closures with optimal pricing, tenures, and covenants.

- Build capital structures aligned to project life cycles and company growth plans.

2. Lender Relations & Market Engagement:

- Develop and maintain CXO-level relationships across domestic and global lenders.

- Engage with credit committees, rating agencies, and financial partners for approvals and closure.

- Negotiate deal terms, security packages, covenants, and repayment structures.

3. Project Finance Leadership (Renewables & Solar):

- Drive financial closure of utility-scale solar, renewable hybrid, storage and infra projects.

- Conduct financial modelling, DSCR analysis, IRR sensitivity, and risk assessment.

- Oversee documentation, security creation, disbursement coordination, and compliance.

4. Financial Strategy, Portfolio Risk & Capital Planning:

- Build multi-year debt strategy for the solar & renewable portfolio.

- Optimise interest cost, refinance opportunities, and capital allocation.

- Ensure compliance with lender requirements, regulatory frameworks, and reporting standards.

5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Lead a high-performing corporate finance/project finance team.

- Collaborate with treasury, strategy, legal, project execution, and business development teams.

- Present financing strategies and deal progress to the board and senior leadership.

Required Experience & Expertise:

- Mandatory: Minimum - 5,000 crore debt raised across infra/renewables/roads/utilities/capital equipment.

- 16+ years of experience in debt financing, project finance, corporate finance, treasury, or structured finance.

- Strong understanding of renewable energy financing, solar project economics, and infra capital cycles.

- Established network with banks, NBFCs, DFIs, AIFs, rating agencies, and private credit funds.

- Proven success in closing multi-institution, complex financing transactions.

Educational Background:

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred.

- Additional certifications in project finance or capital markets are an advantage.
