Head - Corporate Accounts & Finance - Fasteners Manufacturing Firm - CA

Role Overview:

As the CA - Corporate Accounts & Finance Head for our manufacturing unit specializing in fasteners, you will be the driving force behind all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team, plant managers, and external auditors, providing critical financial insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth. Your expertise will directly impact the company's profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for the manufacturing unit, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts, providing insightful analysis to guide business decisions and optimize resource allocation.

- Manage the costing process, ensuring accurate product costing and profitability analysis to support pricing strategies and improve operational efficiency.

- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, providing timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders.

- Manage working capital effectively, optimizing inventory levels, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to improve cash flow.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient audits and compliance processes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within a manufacturing environment.

- Proven ability to manage costing processes, analyze financial data, and provide insightful recommendations to improve profitability.

- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-18 years of relevant experience in corporate accounts and finance, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Kolkata.
