To manage the transition of processes and manpower to the Global Capability Center (GCC) from various locations in India and abroad
Oversee the absorption of the existing Shared Services Center (SSC) into the GCC Work closely with key stakeholders to implement technology initiatives and streamline processes for continuous improvement
Reporting to GCC Head
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the transition of processes and manpower to the newly established GCC and coordinate with various stakeholders across domestic and international locations
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements and implement Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement new tools and other technology solutions and drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement
- Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and present progress updates, reports, and improvement plans to senior management
- Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience of manufacturing sector and leading process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Proven experience in managing GCC implementation projects within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the steel and power industry
- Strong expertise in Six Sigma methodologies; Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable
- Extensive experience with SAP-ERP systems and other related technology initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
Academic Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Certification or experience with process improvement frameworks such as 6 Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
- Understanding of global business operations and regulatory compliance
