Role Overview:

The Head - Compliances role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance across Trident Group's operations in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. This role ensures the company adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Head - Compliances works closely with various departments, including HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of ethical conduct and regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's reputation and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.

- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance programs through regular audits, risk assessments, and internal controls.

- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters, including HR compliance, labour laws, and ethical conduct.

- Manage labour relations and industrial relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and fostering a positive working environment.

- Oversee grievance handling processes and ensure fair and timely resolution of employee complaints.

- Conduct internal investigations into compliance violations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

- Manage regulatory compliance, including statutory audits and SOX compliance, and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities.

- Identify and assess potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with legal counsel to interpret and implement new laws and regulations.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and communicate changes to stakeholders.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies.

- Proven expertise in HR Compliance, Labour Laws, Labour Relations, and Industrial Relations.

- Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance, Internal Control, and Risk Management principles.

- Experience in managing Statutory Audits and ensuring SOX compliance.

- Excellent grievance handling and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to conduct thorough internal investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- 7-16 years of relevant experience in compliance management.
