1. Scheme Management and Automation:
Design and govern trade, channel, retailer, mechanic, and consumer schemes with clear budgets, ROI, controls, and timely settlement. Automate the scheme lifecycle through SAP and track effectiveness, costs, and leakage.
2. Sales Operations and Order-to-Cash Discipline:
Govern pricing execution, order processing, dispatch, invoicing, claims, returns, and channel reconciliation. Maintain strong cash-and-carry discipline, control approved credit exceptions, and provide accurate sales and channel MIS.
3. Channel and Consumer Finance:
Lead lender and NBFC partnerships, dealer and distributor financing, and consumer finance programs. Manage partner risk, approvals, utilisation, overdue exposure, and subvention costs while supporting sales growth.
4. Demand Planning, PPC, and Domestic Logistics:
Lead S&OP and demand forecasting; align production and procurement plans with commercial needs. Manage inventory, service levels, warehouses, C&F agents, transporters, freight costs, and on-time delivery.
5. SAP Transformation, Governance, and Team Leadership:
Own commercial process design and adoption for SAP and related automation. Strengthen controls, data quality, compliance, and management reporting while building and developing teams across sales operations, planning, finance enablement, and logistics.
Qualifications and experience required:
- 12 - 18 years of experience in commercial, sales operations, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in FMCG, consumer durables, batteries, auto ancillaries, or other channel-driven businesses.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- CA/CMA or an MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Operations, or Finance; a qualification from a reputed institute is an advantage.
- Hands-on, change-oriented leader with experience in commercial processes, channel management, planning, and cross-functional team leadership.
