Job Summary:
This position is responsible for defining, developing and implementing business planning process in line with company's strategy and objectives. Identifying business problems and bottlenecks well in time and taking suitable measures to mitigate them with a focus on potential business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing Annual Operating Plans, budgets and forecasts at Company and SBU level.
- Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products/functions.
- Analyze, investigate and explain key variances and trends in P&L lines and provide commentaries and business insights on variance under different scenarios.
- Work with Business heads & Regional Managers to create and review Monthly & quarterly outlook and annual financial plans and budgets.
- Analyzing business performance, industry trends, existing or new requirements and their impact on business operations; making recommendations on alternative courses of action.
- Prepare Business case for various products to access their impact on top and bottom line and providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Preparation of Business Review reports, Review decks & getting into discussions with Business teams.
- Preparation of expense/revenue reports for cost & revenue management with focus on key business drivers.
Requirements:
- CA / MBA preferably from B-School with 15+ years of experience in corporate planning & strategy from Banking / NBFC.
- Financially astute leader with sound decision making, strategic acumen, process improvement and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management, with the capability to guide, educate and influence the thinking of senior decision makers.
- Experience in reviewing key strategic priorities and translates them into actionable and quantitative plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and complex strategic analysis projects.
- Ability to prioritize, analytical thinker, make trade-off/tough decisions.
- Self-driven, with a high level of commitment to achieve results strong work ethic. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great team player, have sound leadership skills, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks.
