Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) (15-25 yrs)
The Head of AI will be responsible for defining, executing, and scaling the AI vision of India Shelters. This role goes beyond advisory-requiring full ownership of AI strategy, execution, and benefit realization across business functions. The leader will work closely with CXOs, business heads, and functional leaders to identify opportunities where AI can drive measurable business impact, from operational efficiency to customer experience and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Governance
- Define a 12-18 month AI roadmap aligned with business priorities (risk, sales, marketing, operations, customer service).
2. Execution & Delivery
- Lead cross-functional execution of AI initiatives, from ideation to production deployment.
3. AI Platforms & Use Cases
- Drive innovation across traditional AI (RPA, chatbots, NLP platforms, automation) and next-gen AI (GenAI, ML, deep learning).
4. Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor benefits realization against commitments (e.g., reduced risk costs, improved customer service SLAs, efficiency gains).
Key Qualifications:
- 12-14 years of experience in technology/AI leadership roles, with at least 6+ years leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives.
- Proven track record of end-to-end AI ownership: strategy, budget, execution, and benefit realization.
- Experience managing blended teams
- Understanding of BFSI / housing finance domain preferred, but not mandatory; ability to translate AI into business outcomes is critical.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML technologies (Python, NLP, RPA tools such as UI Path, conversational AI, GenAI platforms).
- Boardroom presence with ability to articulate AI vision to leadership.
Success Metrics:
- Delivery of AI roadmap within budget and timelines.
- Tangible business outcomes specifically Frontline Productivity enhancement, credit risk reduction, enhanced Collections efficiency, Operational efficiency, enhanced customer experience.
