Head - Applications - Finance

Role Summary:

The Head of Applications - Finance is responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, and strategic development of finance systems across the organization. This role leads a central team managing tools like EPM, Expense Management, and P2P solutions, while acting as the key liaison between Finance, IT, and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee administration and operations of core finance applications, ensuring availability and performance.

2. Align system functionalities with finance and business needs across departments.

3. Drive continuous improvement and automation in line with the transformation roadmap.

4. Lead testing strategies (unit, integration, UAT) during upgrades or deployments.

5. Define KPIs and dashboards to track system reliability, user satisfaction, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 8-13 years in finance systems, ERP, or finance transformation (Basware, Kyriba, HFM, etc.).

2. Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting, controlling, and reporting processes.

3. Technical Skills: Understanding of system architecture, data flows, and performance tracking.

4. Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional, international teams.

5. Mindset: Structured, responsive, user-focused, and transformation-oriented.

6. Language: Fluency in English.
