Head - Account Delivery

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership in Account Delivery:

- Oversee the delivery of one or more significant strategic accounts in the field of data engineering and analytics.

- Ensure that programs and projects are carried out successfully by adhering to deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.

- Promote governance among internal and external stakeholders, guaranteeing openness and problem-solving.

2. Management of P&L and Margin:

- Own account-level P&L; guarantee margin expansion and topline growth.

- Determine the levers for location strategy, pyramid balance, and cost optimization.

- Monitor and control delivery metrics, utilization, predictions, and budgets.

3. Engagement of Stakeholders and Clients:

- Establish and maintain solid connections with business, IT, procurement, and CXOs, among other client stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities and provide value for the client by acting as a trusted advisor and participating in strategic conversations.

- To support mining, renewals, and new business prospects, collaborate with the sales and presales teams.

4. Leadership Practice and People:

- Oversee and guide data engineers, architects, and delivery managers worldwide.

- Encourage a culture of excellence, creativity, and ongoing education.

- Work together on technological innovation and talent development with the CoE and practice teams.

5. Technical Excellence:

- Bring deep understanding of modern data architecture (cloud data platforms, data lakes, streaming, ELT/ETL, etc.).

- Guide and review solution design and architecture for complex data programs.

- Stay current with trends in GenAI, cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern data stacks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 13+ years of total experience with at least 4 to 6 years in account delivery leadership roles.

- Strong experience in delivering data engineering, data platform modernization, and analytics programs.

- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP), Big Data, ELT/ETL tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, etc.).

- Proven track record of managing large teams (onsite/offshore), with responsibility for P&L.

- Excellent client-facing skills, including stakeholder management and executive presence.

- Strong problem-solving, program management, and organizational skills.

- Engineering or technical graduate + MBA

- Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Big Data Specialty, GCP Data Engineer)

- PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certifications
